Lostage Footage...

Hello Lovelies,

Soooo as I was looking through my photos I realized I totally never posted this outfit. After looking through them, it was probably because I didn't take any great shots, but I did love my outfit. So I debated on if I should post the pictures or just leave them lost, ha. Well if you can tell what my decision was...

Overall, I really liked this outfit. I wore it for Mother's Day and I thought it was perfect for the occasion. If you saw my Forever 21 Haul this was the circle/skater skirt I was raving about... I love this skirt! Still do! I retired it for a little because I wore it like 3xs already.

Cracking Legs!

Top of the morning lovelies,

I haven't really blogged much as of late, but I was thinking of adding in some new post... I kind of want to do my bucket list, stylized post, my favorite things and more of Baking with Tasha P., I would love to hear your thoughts about the post. The button up on my last post didn't get a great reception, which is totally fine. I LOVE all the critics and feedback, sooo keep them coming:) Anywho, below is my outfit of the night for a dinner with friends.

We were going to eat all-you-eat crab, soo I didn't want to wear anything to much because I was going to be wearing crab as an accessory by the end of the night. It was either my normal uniform, a thrown on dress, or shorts. I went with shorts, sooo I can get down and dirty with cracking those legs! (I can hear all my vegetarian readers cringing! No more crab talk!)

Since my outfit was pretty simple, I spiced it up with a pair of heels and some shades. I liked the combo and it went well for what was doing. I felt comfortable and cute. Most outfits can be transformed with the right accessories.

Looking forward to your thoughts... Bye, Loves!

Attention Boys and Girls!

Ciao Piacevole,

As I was going through my daily routine of browsing through blogs, I run upon a white button up that I was screaming to have on All the Pretty Birds.

These button ups are one of the most awesome takes on a closet staple!

Sooo I am a self-proclaimed fashion stalker and if an item moves me I will track it down! That is exactly what I had to do in order to find who made this amazing piece, because the original post didn't detail the designer, the price or anything.Thank goodness she listed the names of gentlemen wearing the pieces. I found one the gentlemen's twitter, which lead me to his instagram which tag the designer of the button up...YAY!

The designer of the buttons is an up and coming Italian (hence the greeting) menswear line by the name of 11/Un-Dici . If you have clicked the link, you will see they are still under construction but you can see more of their collection by visiting their instagram (11/Un-Dici).

Let me know if you would like to see more post like this one...

MY BIRTHDAY!

Welcome back Lovelies,
My birthday was June 12th! I love my birthday, I especially love the birthday wishes, but celebrating my birthday isn't something I'm always down for. My friends and family kept asking me what I was planning on doing and I kept replying nothing. I honestly didn't want to do anything big and since I couldn't think of anything, I figure I would just chill at home. Every year, my mom gets me a cake and puts a number 1 candle in it, then my mom and dad take me to Olive Garden and that's the only thing I wanted to do. Well my boyfriend had other plans...

He gave me some money to go grab an outfit and told me to be pretty. Sooo I assumed we were just going to dinner, which I was perfectly happy with, then the door bell rang. First my mom came, then my two friends Marji and Tameka. As I look out the window to see if anyone else was coming, I saw a limo and I was immediately excited.

The limo took us to Flemings and around the strip, I had a blast! My friends, my boyfriend and my cousin were just all laughs all night and I couldn't contain my overwhelming feelings of happiness. Best way to celebrate my birthday!

Can a Zebra Change her Stripes?

Hello Lovelies,

I have roughly been blogging for a year and I look back on all the pictures I have taken published and unpublished and my style has "changed" sooo much from then until now... I can honestly say my last few post have made me realize that I am really starting to find my uniform of choice...

Any who, since the whole monochrome trend has been in style I have been craving a stripped skirt. It took me forever to find the one I wanted with the right fit and with belt loops. As I have stated before, when I get outfit concepts in my head I can't let them go.

I found this skirt at TJ Maxx, when I was suppose to be looking for pillows (hahaha). I was soooo excited about the skirt that I run to my mom and my boyfriend, who were actually in the home section to show them my new find. I wore this skirt on a very busy day, I took my stepdaughter to a birthday party, we went to a family dinner and I believe we went to the movies.

The picture above sums it up for me, I do believe in #teamoverdressed but I never want to go to a family dinner in something that I could have worn to a dinner date with friends or a night out on the town. I never want to waste an outfit! :)

I am a... Boss

LOVELIES!

I'm back!

What I love most about clothes is how they can transform you. I felt every bit of a diva/boss in this outfit and I embraced it:) Dressing up helps transforms you, a great outfit can make you want to smile and strut out the house with your head high.

The hardest thing about blogging so far, besides finding the time, is feeling it. You want to pose differently, smile differently and convey how you are feeling. Most of the time, I am just me The Lovely Tasha P. The girl next door, who follows all the rules and is just happy to be happy. However, this day I was The Fierce Tasha P. hahah who ever that is... I will tell once I develop her a little more... LoL;)

I went out to celebrate my friend's, Christine, birthday. I wanted to do something urban, yet cute. This outfit is really trendy, the whole "boyish" look is really in... I really want to do some pleather sweats, double strapped sandals and an American Apparel crop top, but I would be asking for heat stroke. Maybe I will see how it looks on me when the weather cools down a little.

Flip Flops and What Not...

Hello Lovelies,

Soooo if you follow me on instagram, you are aware that my anniversary just passed. My wonderful boyfriend bought me the Tory Burch sandals, I have been drooling over. I knew I wasn't going spend that amount of money on sandals, but I guess that didn't stop him.

Of course being me, once I get a new addition to my closet I am immediately have to wear it. I am all about layers, but with this Vegas heat (over 100 degrees) layering isn't always my friend. Sooo I have to figure out a new go to outfit that is comfortable, yet cute.

Any who, I love love this vest and it went perfectly with my tube top body suit. My pudge, even though it is slowly disappearing, has made its evil return. I decided to start eating clean and my problem is that I am always eating unhealthy at lunch, so I started making extra for dinner and bring the leftovers for lunch. Now all I have to do is drag my butt to the gym, which seems to be increasingly hard in the heat. hahahah I HATE excuses. I plan on coming up with something that works for me. *Fingers Crossed* What's crazy is, once I start going to the gym I love it, but once I stop booooyyyy...

Something Simple

Hey Lovelies,

Back again with another post. Just like my outfit, this post will be sweet and simple. Now that I have lost weight, I think I look soo much better in dresses. Since my weight loss I went out and bought at least 15 dresses, most are inexpensive and just to give me something to throw on when I can't really find anything to wear.

I probably won't be displaying most of my throw on dresses on here, but I figured I would give you guys a taste of what I wear on just a random, visiting friends and family, running errands, day. I typically go everywhere and find them everywhere, they usually are less than $15 and are just soooo easy to make look cute (Just like my Drugstore Haul dress). I even found a few at Wal-mart for like $8!!!

These shoes lasted me all of two wears, they are sooo dirty now! I was thinking of doing a DIY with them, by painting the galaxy print on them. I am not sure yet, but I did love them and once I finally pulled them out I found several outfits I could wear with them. Sadly, they will only be a image in my head because white shoes and I have a love hate relationship.

Sneaker Wedges, Yay or Nay?

Hello Lovelies,

It is getting super hot in Vegas, its reaching the 100s already. And let me tell you, nothing you wear can save you from the heat... Ha:) Just a little bit about this outfit of the day... I wasn't sure about the sneaker wedge trend, but I found myself styling outfits in my head with them (mind you, I had not bought a pair yet). Most people, like myself, lusted over the Prabal Gurung X Target collab and one of the outfits I imagine with some sneaker wedges was from that collection. I wanted to pair the sweater with with a cute skirt and the wedges.

Well I found a pair at TJ Maxx while I was out shopping and they were exactly what I had been imagining in my head. Once I got them home, I fall in love!! I found soooo many items that would look good with them!

I'm the type of woman that once I buy a pair of shoes, I will find everything in my closet to go with them. I will wear them out, until I realize how many times I have actually wore them. That's what I love about this blog it helps me realize what I wore, when I wore it and how many times.

Talk about lovely, I felt sooo comfy and chic in this outfit. As I grow and study fashion more, I realize I lean more towards clean lines, simple, trendy, more sophisticated looks. The high-low shirt I am wearing got sooo many questions (is that really a dress, where did you get it, etc) and compliments.

I would wear a skirt everyday if I could. Once made a goal to have a pair of jeans for everyday of the year, but I have really strayed from jeans and moved towards skirts.

Until later loves!

P.S. This pose makes me laugh every time I do, soo this probably won't be last you see of my "off, off and away" pose. Maybe I was Superman in a past life ;)
