This outfit wasn't exactly what I was going for... but it worked and I loved it. As you can see, I didn't have my stomach out (like I wanted) but you can tell that my flat tummy is right around the corner:)
Here are a few shoots from my birthday... Later I'll show you my camera, that I was given for my birthday!!! Best gift ever!

SOOOOOOoooo in advance let me say my hair it's always in place in these pictures, but hey I had a blast at my birthday kick off:)

I was singing karaoke and no one couldn't tell me I wasn't Beyonce (at that very moment)!
And check out the shoes!

Here are some of the guest...

I rented out a karaoke room for the night, I thought it would be super fun and it was all that I imagined and more. It was great because it allowed us to just have fun and be free. They had a call button, soooo if we needed anything they were just one button away. I loved it... Below are more pictures from the event. I hope you enjoy:)

Thanks for stopping by and can't wait for you to see more of my birthday:)

Baking with Tasha P: To Much Chocolate Cupcakes!!

Hello Lovelies,

I am pleased to present the first installment of Baking with Tasha P. Yay!! I made To Much Chocolate Cupcakes! Let me just preface this by saying, THEY WERE DELICIOUS! Prior to this I made a wonderful brownie recipe, which also had rave reviews. If I make it again I will be sure to share the recipe.

Being a beginner at baking, I don’t have all the great stuff that most advance bakers have in their kitchen already but I’m working on it. I plan to make a wish list for baking utensils. I make a list for everything and maybe I will show you my bucket list and the “Things I Want to Do Before Thirty” list. *MAYBE

Soooo let’s start:

Ingredients:

Cupcake pan

Cupcake cups

Mixing Bowl

1 box of Devil’s Food Cake (Any Brand)

1 package of instant chocolate pudding (Any Brand)

1 can of chocolate frosting

4 Eggs

1 cup of Sour Cream

1 cup of Vegetable Oil

½ cup of warm water

1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

I found this recipe at Allrecipes.com, it was originally for cake but I want to make cupcakes soooo I changed it and added frosting.

Okay, soooo I am new to baking, cooking, life (LOL), ect. Soooo as I go down the baking section of my grocery store I am a little confused of what is what. Anywho, I started to search for the Devil’s Food Cake. I didn’t realize that Devil’s Food is the type of cake and not the brand, until I actually thought about it for a second and scanned the different type of cake mix. Next, I had never made pudding sooo I assumed by “instant” they saying “already made,” but I since I was tricked by the Devil’s Food, I start with the pudding boxes to see if they had an one labeled “instant.” They did! Soo ha, using my common sense worked out for me. LOL. Other than that everything else went smooth!

Back to the program:

1.)    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

2.)    In a mixing pour the Devil’s Food mix, pudding mix, sour cream, oil, water and the eggs. (Make sure you beat the eggs prior to pouring them into the mixing bowl.) Starting stirring the ingredients. As you stir start to slowly mix in the chocolate chips. (Feel free to add more than 1 cup, they original recipe calls for two.)

3.)    Grease the cupcake pan and start to place the cups in the container, if you are using cupcake cups.

4.)    Pour mixture into the cups or directly into the pan. (I used an ice cream scooper, I found it easier to use)

5.)    Bake for 25-27 minutes.( You can test if the cupcakes are done by using a toothpick. Stick the toothpick into a cupcake and if it comes out clean, the cupcake is done.) Upon removal of the cupcakes from the oven, let the cupcakes cool and then apply frosting or whatever topping you choose.

P.S.  I really need to stop taking pictures with my iPhone!! Bear with me until I break this habit and purchase a higher quality camera or just start using the one I already have.

Mixing Prints...

Hello Lovelies,

I went to a family dinner, which happens every 1st Sunday of the month. I noticed that I don't always pick the best locations for photos. Welp, let's add that to my list. Along with not forgetting my camera, soooo I can stop taking pictures on my iPhone.

I love this outfit! It was comfy and cute. While I follow trends, as far as knowing what they are and all the upcoming season new trends, I don't pick my outfits around them or for the season's trend. However, I really wanted to mix prints to see if I could make it work and I did!

Random: It also hard for people who shop often to say they don't follow trends or wear trendy items, because most stores put the lastest trends on their shelves. (Just a random thought.)

The labels:
Shirt-Target
Jeans- Forever 21
Shoes-Bakers

These shoes were all the rage for the older generation. They said it reminded them of the huge platform shoes from the 70s. They weren't sure if they liked them or not, but I love them!! I think it all depends on how you style them. I am going to try to wear them when it gets a little warmer with some black knee high socks, denim shorts and a white boyfriend t-shirt. I will blog it, if I do.

No Lines!

Hello Lovelies,

Soooo I totally forgot that I had to renew my car registration. I know terrible, right? I had to have it by Monday, but I had to work. Soooo I had no idea what I should do, then my boyfriend said maybe the kiosk would still be open. He was right!! The kiosks are open 24 hours a day, who would think that the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) would make life that easy.

Anywho, I figured I would do a little Outfit of the Day (OOTD) in the parking lot.

The Labels:

The purse I'm wearing came out of a Viva La Juicy Gift basket the mister bought me. (I wish I had the picture but my iPhone deleted almost of my pictures and I have no idea how or why, but hey no biggie.)

Thanks for checking out another OOTD!

Here We Go Again...!

I know it has been over a month (okay, okay, close to 2 months) since my last post. No reason, just that I have not made it apart of my lifestyle yet. However, I am going to TRY to make a change. Good, bad, great or indifferent I will post... Sooo let me know what you love, like or would have changed. I have said it over and over, that this blog is me finding my fashion voice and it allows me to dig dip inside my closet.

Anywho, here is what I am rocking today:

If the shirt looks familar, that is because I wore it in a previous post. I am more of a basic shirt, no writing, type of girl but lately I have been really into graphic tees! However, when I went to look in my wardrobe, it was a very limited selection, ha. SOooooo graphic tees has been added to my shopping list.

Soooo what's the labels?

Cardy & shirt- Forever 21
Jeans- Lucky Brand Boyfriend Jeans
Shoes- Unsure but hey they are cute!

No accessories...

I truly love the response I received from friends and friends of friends about how they miss my posts and I will have my mind set on not disappointing! Honestly, how many titles can a girl come up with for being gone a long time:?

-MUAH!

P.S. I started baking! Sooooo, I will post that too!

Happy New Year!

As we close another chapter of our lives, it is sooo nice to be able to start a new chapter with !!!! :) hahahah

Here are some pictures of how I brought in the New Year, these were all taken with my iPhone soooo mind you these pictures aren't the greatest!

Anywho, every year I create new goals for myself. Usually, I do it way before the year ends, but this year I find myself at a crossroad and I'm not quite sure which direction I want to go in yet.

When I do though, I will be sure to keep you posted.

Love you guys and I hope your New Year started off with !!! :)
